Count it all joy. An ideal that's pretty easy to understand, but nearly impossible to do. How many people do you know that respond the same way regardless of whether or not they just got their dream job or were just fired from it? Joy is a mindset. When circumstances and goals are out of our control, sometimes choosing joy is all we can do. It's contagious. It is literally a definable characteristic. When someone considers their life joy, you can see it. You can sense it. You want to be close to it. Bob Goff once wrote, "When joy is a habit, love is a reflex". Love flows from a joyful heart.
Speaking of joy, we couldn't imagine a better charity partner this month than Camp Joy, an organization near and dear to our hearts. Camp Joy is a Christian camp serving those with special needs. Jordan served there as a camp counselor throughout high school and it was this place, where she decided that she wanted to pursue a career where she could work with individuals who have special needs. Camp Joy will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Because of COVID, all Camp Joy sessions have been cancelled through the end of this year. The camps run strictly on volunteers and donations so this has a tremendous impact on their finances. With the purchase of this shirt, we will be donating 20% of the proceeds to Camp Joy. We will also place a link in our website if you would like to give directly to the charity. (link)
"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness."
