Here are the answers to all of the questions you may have.

What is Ragamuffin Co.?

Ragamuffin Co. is a husband and wife team that creates radically awesome goods on a radical mission. You could summarize our mission statement with the verse below:

“And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation.” (Mark 16:15)

What does Ragamuffin mean?

I chose the word Ragamuffin for this company after I read one of the most impactful books in my life, The Ragamuffin Gospel. The book was written by Brennan Manning and drastically changed the way that I accept  grace and view myself in the eyes of God. The definition of a ‘Ragamuffin’ is a ragged person, who is worn-out, bedraggled, and ashamed. Jesus did not come for the pious and righteous Christians. Instead, He came for the worn-out, bedraggled Christians (ragamuffins) who are in desperate need of his grace. The book reveals the true nature of a freely-given and unrelenting grace that’s available to all. Drop the burden of never measuring up and revel in the comfort of a God who loves you for who you are – not for who you think you should be. ‘Ragamuffin’ embodies me, and I wanted it to embody my company as well.

So, do I have to be a Christian to order from you?

Definitely not. We have customers from all different kinds of backgrounds and welcome anyone into our movement.

Where are you located?

We are located in Boise, Idaho. Land of beautiful mountains, world class fly-fishing, and delicious potatoes.

What do you mean by Responsible Apparel?

Here at Ragamuffin Co., we are committed to ethical manufacturing. We carefully vetted and chose partners that respect both the earth, and their employees. This is definitely not the cheapest way to go, but for us, it was the only way. Nearly 100% of our clothing is manufactured in WRAP certified facilities. Learn more about WRAP here.

How are you really "making an impact"?

At Ragamuffin Co., we put our money where our mouth is. As a clothing brand that is passionate about both the outdoors and spreading the gospel, it was important to us to make a difference beyond just our products. We have partnered with several global charities, and even started one of our own, that we believe help us fulfill our mission.

If you buy a sweatshirt from us, we fund a brand new pair of socks for a child in need. If you buy any other clothing item, you get to choose whether we fund the planting of a tree in a forest garden for a family in need or supply a child around the world with a gospel booklet.

Which tees are for men and which are for women? Are your tees unisex?

You may have noticed that we do not have a men's and women's section on our menu. That is because most of our clothing is unisex. If a shirt is not unisex, it will specify "Women's" in the title. Please email us if you have any further questions and we will be happy to assist!

My size says "pre-order" next to it. What does this mean?

A few months ago we began offering "pre-orders" when specific styles were out of size but we were in the process of re-stocking. This helps us control our inventory and helps you get what you want as soon as possible. Read the description of the product carefully and it will tell you an ETA for when we hope to ship your shirt to you. Please email info@ragacoalition.com if you have any more questions about this.

Will my clothes shrink?

All Ragamuffin Co. garments are preshrunk. That being said, minimal shrinkage is still possible. Garments made of 100% Cotton are more susceptible to shrinkage than our poly-cotton garments, please take special care when laundering these items. The safest measure is to wash in cold water and hang dry.

What size should I order?

Our clothes are basically as true to size as they come. On each product, we have included the size and height of a guy and a gal model. Our women's sizes are the only styles that run a little small. If you are between two sizes, order up.If you still need help deciding what size to get, feel free to email info@ragacoalition.com.

Can I have free stickers?

We wish we could give out free stickers to everyone! Everyone needs stickers. The truth is, at this time we cannot afford to give free stickers to everyone who asks. We have been known to throw in a free sticker when you purchase something though :)
